With a win tonight that could give them the right mind set to accomplish that task. Who would have thought that at all possible?

With LeBron James hurt there is a possibility since they have already made the playoffs that the Cleveland Cavaliers sit him until the playoffs. If they do and the 76ers get even hotter than they already are, it is a good opportunity to swoop into the fourth seed. I can dream right?

With a win tonight over the Atlanta Hawks, the 76ers will have found themselves a spot in the playoffs. The eastern teams are shaking in fear them may have to face the scorching hot 76ers in the first round. Tonight is the first game in a home and home, this one in Atlanta, tomorrow Atlanta comes to Philly.

Nice win against the Nets last night

They are proving they deserve to be a playoff team. They all but wrapped up a playoff spot with last nights win against the New Jersey Nets. If they can finish off their season very strong and theres no reason to think they can't they have have a schedule they can almost run the table with, they can finish has high as fourth. I would love to see the 76ers first round playoff opponents to be either Cleveland, yes you read that right, or Orlando. both of those teams do not want to play the 76ers in the first round I can guarantee you that. With the 76ers torrid second half there have been some quiet whispers for Maurice Cheeks to win Coach of the year. I could get behind that and no not just because I'm a homer, he's done a great job with a cast not many people know about including myself.

If my math is correct, with a 76ers victory tonight against the Nets, the 76ers will have secured themselves a playoff spot.
